Every program we operate is designed to meet patients and families at their point of greatest need — with real financial support, not just awareness.

Program 01 💙

Dialysis Assistance Program

Emergency and recurring financial support for patients who cannot afford dialysis treatments. We partner with dialysis centers and patient coordinators to identify those most in need and deliver direct funding.

Transplant Support Program

Full-cycle support from pre-transplant evaluation through post-transplant care. Covers anti-rejection medications, monitoring, and coordination for qualifying low-income patients.

Emergency micro-grants, housing assistance, and compassionate case management for families who have lost a loved one to kidney disease. No family is left without support.

Our Story

Founded in faith and survival.

The Global Kidney Foundation was founded by Eunice Ogbebor — a kidney patient who endured three years of dialysis treatment before receiving a life-changing kidney transplant. By the grace of God, she has now lived more than 20 years post-transplant. Her faith, her survival, and her gratitude are the reason this organization exists.

More than 20 years after her transplant, she is thriving — and she built this foundation to extend that same fighting chance to every kidney patient and family who needs it.

David Whitmore serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors, alongside ten dedicated board members committed to expanding kidney care access globally. Together, the GKF team is building long-term infrastructure — dialysis centers in Africa, mobile dialysis outreach, and a global awareness media platform.
